Having lived my whole life in British Columbia, I feel a close relationship with its heritage and natural beauty. My  29 years on the Sunshine Coast and my early years in Vancouver have become vehicles for my artistic expression. I believe that through my depictions of local nostalgia and the serenity of the natural world, I create a bond with the viewers. I artistically explore my unique vision of the Sunshine Coast and my affection for my community. I am continually pushing the boundaries of joy and memory in the materials I use. My goal is to work with a sense of compassion and engagement with my chosen subjects. I work in acrylic, watercolour and oil.
