CORINNE BARBER:    SUNSHINE COAST ARTIST

Having lived my whole life in British Columbia, I feel an intimate relationship with its natural beauty. My  27 years on the Sunshine Coast and my early years in Vancouver have become vehicles for my artistic expression. I believe that through my depictions of urban nostalgia and the serenity of the natural world, I create a bond with the viewers. I artistically explore my unique vision of the Sunshine Coast and my affection for vintage Vancouver. I am continually pushing the boundaries of joy and memory in the materials I use. I work in acrylic, watercolour and wool.
